1. Platform Description

Bishop Family (bishop-family.xops360.com) is a private, invite-only family heritage archive platform. Access is granted at the sole discretion of the platform administrator ("Commander"). This platform is not a public service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use this platform. Users under 18 require verifiable parental or guardian consent prior to account activation. Users under 13 require a parent or guardian to create and manage their account directly.

3. Accounts

Accounts are non-transferable and invite-only. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. You agree to notify the Commander immediately of any unauthorized access to your account.

4. User Content

You retain ownership of content you submit. By submitting content, you grant Bishop Family a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, display, and distribute your content within the platform to other authorized members. All submissions are subject to review and approval before publication. The Commander reserves the right to remove any content at any time without notice.

5. AI-Generated Content

This platform uses artificial intelligence to generate conversational responses representing historical persons ("AI Avatars") and a "World Guide" feature. All AI-generated content is clearly labeled. AI responses are generated and do not constitute historical fact, professional genealogical research, legal advice, medical advice, or any other professional service. You agree not to rely on AI-generated content as authoritative.

6. Conduct

You agree not to: harass, threaten, or impersonate other users; submit false genealogical records knowingly; attempt to access accounts or data not belonging to you; attempt to circumvent parental controls; use AI avatar features to extract harmful, illegal, or inappropriate content; or violate any applicable law.

7. Voluntary Contributions

Monetary contributions are voluntary donations toward platform operating costs. They are not purchases of goods or services, are not tax-deductible, and are generally non-refundable except in cases of processing error. Platform subscription fees for world administrators are subject to the separate Payment Terms.

8. Privacy

Your use of this platform is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated herein by reference. Special protections apply to users under 13 as described in our Children's Privacy Policy.

9. Intellectual Property

The platform name, design, and original software are owned by the operator. Historical biographical information about public figures is factual and not subject to copyright. User-submitted creative content (original biographical writing, photos) is owned by the submitting user subject to the license granted in Section 4.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

This platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. The operator does not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any content, including AI-generated content or genealogical data.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Wisconsin law, the operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of this platform.

12. Termination

The Commander may suspend or terminate any account at any time. You may request account deletion at any time by contacting privacy@xops360.com.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Wisconsin.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated via email with 30 days notice. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
